Recognizing Great Employees

Mountain View is staffed with a team of dedicated and talented folks
who genuinely care.

Wheat is obviously a huge part of our history here at Mountain View Co-op. We wanted to reinforce that legacy as well as integrate the culture of customer service and looking out for each other that our customers are used to.

Thus, the WHEAT Awards were born.

WHEAT is an acronym that explains
our customer service philosophy.

Our goal is to provide the best possible customer service to every single customer every single time.

To achieve that we believe our team should be welcoming, helpful, make a good effort, have a good attitude, and let our customers know we’re thankful they chose to work with Mountain View.

This is our culture. This is how we treat each other and our customers day in and day out. We want this to be a place you want to work and do business with.

We don’t just talk about customer service,
we reward our team members who excel at it.

Each month, teammates nominate coworkers they see doing great work and our WHEAT committee (which is made up of Mountain View employees from each of our divisions) chooses winners and prizes.

Here are a few of our recent winners:

Josh GimbEl
Power Agronomy Driver

Josh is an outstanding driver for our Power location, and has years of experience in the business. He saw that Mountain View needed more trained drivers, so he designed and built a driver training course to help our new folks learn and practice their driving skills. His training has led to several of our team getting their commercial drivers licenses!

Paige Miller
Credit Manager

Paige not only cares about our customers, she cares about each and every part of Mountain View. Two stories stand out- First, when a giant truck tire blew out and landed on the grass at one of our convenience stores she led the charge to get it cleaned up right away, and secondly she came in on her day off with a rake to straighten out the rocks that border our parking lot. That’s dedication!

Aaron Zachary
Bulk Fuel Driver

Aaron and our fuel team have been working their tails off keeping Central Montana’s farmers moving this harvest season. Aaron knows his customers so well he will call them before they even realize they need fuel, which reduces the stress on the fuel team and eliminates any chance of downtime.
